Pomade is a greasy, wax-based substance used for styling hair. It gives your hair a shiny and slick appearance lasting longer than other synthetic modern hair care products. Pomade originated in the eighteenth and nineteenth century. Originally it was made from bear fat or lard. Modern pomades are made from lanolin, beeswax, or petroleum jelly with a mix of essential oils, butter and carrier oils.
Unlike other hair styling products like gels and hairsprays, Pomade does not dry and lasts much longer. It gives hairs a darker, shiny and slicker look. Pomade also make up for a good moisturiser for the scalp and makes hair smoother and shinier.

WHEN TO USE IT?
Well, the answer is using a pomade early and often sets your hair up for optimal growth. We recommend applying right after a shower when your hair is damp (not wet). Use the hair oil to moisturise the scalp and pomade to style. (if you have both)
HOW TO USE IT?
Take a small amount and warm between your fingers, rub it in your palm. Then massaging into the hair. If you had any allergies before, please do a small patch test 24 hours before application. Use a wooden comb and/or boar’s bristle brush to finish your style. Keep in mind a little goes a long way.
